Devotional: Anointing Your Life with Purpose

📖 Psalm 23:5 – “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

Reflection:

Anointing in the Bible was a sacred act of blessing—used to appoint kings, heal the sick, and consecrate holy places. Today, we may not pour oil over our heads, but we can still invite God's anointing into our daily lives.

Think of God’s anointing as His divine favor and purpose placed over you. When you start your day, ask: “Lord, what do You want to anoint in my life today?”

Sacred Skincare Anointing Routine:

• Morning blessing: Before applying your moisturizer or facial oil, hold the bottle and pray: “Lord, let this day be anointed for Your glory. May my work, words, and actions reflect You.”
• DIY Anointing Oil Blend: Mix olive oil (symbol of anointing), myrrh (symbol of purification), and lavender (symbol of peace). Apply a small amount to your wrists and temples before prayer.
• Evening reflection: As you wash your face, let go of the stresses of the day and thank God for His overflowing grace.
