Devotional: Renewing Your Spirit Like the Waters of Baptism
Share
📖 Titus 3:5 – “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.”
Reflection:
Water is a powerful symbol in the Bible, representing purification, renewal, and rebirth. Just as baptism washes away our sins, God calls us to seek daily renewal in Him.
Life can leave us feeling weighed down by stress, past mistakes, and exhaustion. But God's mercy is new every morning. Taking time for spiritual cleansing—whether through prayer, worship, or self-care rituals—helps us refocus on Him.
Sacred Bath Ritual for Renewal:
- Prepare the water: Fill your bathtub with warm water and add Epsom salt, frankincense, and lavender to symbolize cleansing and peace.
- Speak a renewal prayer: As you soak, pray: “Lord, refresh my spirit. Wash away my burdens and renew my strength in You.”
- Reflect on scripture: Meditate on Titus 3:5, thanking God for His constant renewal in your life.
