Week 12: Love—The Greatest of All
Share
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." — 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Devotional:
Love is the foundation of the Christian life. It is more than a feeling—it is a choice and an action. God demonstrated the greatest act of love through Jesus’ sacrifice, and as His followers, we are called to love as He does.
Loving others isn’t always easy. It requires patience, kindness, humility, and forgiveness. But when we love the way God calls us to, we reflect His heart to the world. This week, focus on embodying love in your relationships, even when it is difficult.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Teach me to love as You do—with patience, kindness, and humility. Help me to extend grace to others, even when it is hard. Fill my heart with Your love so that I may reflect it to those around me. Amen.
