Week 15: Patience in the Waiting
Share
Scripture: Romans 12:12
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." — Romans 12:12
Devotional:
Waiting is never easy, but patience is a spiritual discipline that strengthens our faith. God often works in seasons of waiting, using them to refine our character, deepen our trust in Him, and prepare us for what’s ahead.
When we grow impatient, we are tempted to take matters into our own hands. But God’s timing is perfect, and He calls us to trust Him instead of rushing ahead. This week, embrace patience—not as passive waiting, but as an active trust in God's plan.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to be patient in every season of life. Teach me to trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand. Give me a heart that rests in Your promises and a spirit that waits with hope. Amen.
