Week 8: Living a Life of Goodness

Scripture: Psalm 34:8
"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." — Psalm 34:8

Devotional:

God’s goodness is not just something He does—it is who He is. His goodness is evident in creation, in His mercy, and in the way He provides for us daily. As we grow in our faith, we are called to reflect His goodness in our own lives.

Goodness is more than just being a “good person.” It means choosing righteousness, standing for truth, and actively doing what is right, even when no one is watching. It means loving others selflessly and seeking to bring light into the world. This week, focus on ways you can embody the goodness of God in your daily life.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Help me to reflect Your goodness in my thoughts, words, and actions. May my life be a testimony of Your love and truth. Amen.

Reflection Questions:

  1. How have you experienced God’s goodness in your life?
  2. In what areas of your life can you be more intentional about choosing goodness?
  3. How can you share God’s goodness with someone this week?
